Starting out as a legal secretary, Nancy fell in love with the legal field.  As a young girl she aspired to be "Della Street" - Perry Mason's trusted legal secretary, paralegal, and administrative assistant.  Eventually her passion for the legal field led her to start her own company, Office Support Services (OSS), which helped clients create filing systems, organize offices, prepare pleadings, and transcribe reports.

Before the days when court reporters had their own specialized equipment, she assisted several court reporters in transcribing, proofing and printing transcripts from mini and micro audio tapes.

She is an avid reader of all book types and enjoys word games and trivia - all of which give her a well rounded vocabulary and general knowledge base which helps her in the different types of transcriptions she does.

Acorn Transcriptions has had a working relationship with the Massachusetts court system for over twenty years, as well as a statewide contract for transcription services.
